Matteo Fedeli’s artistic mission is taking the voice of the famous cremonese luthiers Amati, Stradivari and Guarneri to the largest possible audience.
He goes on tour every year with concerts in several American States, touching prestigious musical sites, such as the splendid Severance Hall in Cleveland. Finally, his activity enjoys the endorsement of the Italian Senate of the Republic and of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Environmental Conservation.
Thanks to the great sensitivity to others shown by his coupling of charity work to great artistic events, and in acknowledgement of his artistic career, Matteo was bestowed the Croce di Cavaliere dell’Ordine di Malta, the Croce di Cavaliere di merito del Sacro Militare Ordine Costantiniano, three Paul Harris Fellowships, the Prize ‘The Man of the Year’ ILICA and invested by HE Paolo Corallini, Grand Prior of Italy, as a Knight Templar in Bologna. He is among the founders of the National Orchestra of Corpo Italiano di Soccorso dell’Ordine di Malta.
Under the Patronage of the Argentinean Consulate, he was protagonist, facing 5,000 spectators, of a huge concert in the Duomo di Milano (presented in advance performance at the United Nations in Geneva) in occasion of the 20th anniversary of Astor Piazzolla’s demise.
He executes over 100 concerts each year and recently performed in the United Arab Emirates, United States and Canada.
He is currently collaborating with the strings-playing organization ‘Solo d’Archi Ensemble’ and involved in promoting the projects ‘Suoni d’Autore’ and ‘The Soul of Guarneri’.
For his activity, Matteo Fedeli utilizes violins by Andrea Guarneri of 1694 and Pietro G. Guarneri 1709, graciously granted on loan by a private collection.
